Tim McGraw, founder and president, is an entrepreneur, commercial insurance professional and successful executive. Born and raised in Kansas, Tim graduated from Emporia State University in 1986 and began his insurance career with Liberty Mutual Insurance. After achieving a claims management position, he followed his entrepreneurial passion and created a risk management consulting firm in 1992 assisting companies with asset protection related to operational claim exposure. He created two successful insurance claims and program management companies specific to the Transportation Industry with an overall premium book of $15 million. He then created a national retail insurance agency in 2003 in response to market opportunities. Tim is a member of the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents and Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
Over the years, he has served on local community & organizational boards including the Bonner Springs Community Center Planning Committee, former chair of the Good Shepherd Formation Council, and current chair of the Good Shepherd Parish Advisory Council. Tim is a member of Rotary International and strives to live up to the Rotarian mission of “Service above Self.” Over 15 years of being a volunteer youth coach for his three children in various sports, Tim also enjoys traveling with Jane, his wife of over 35 years. Jane McGraw, vice president, received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in education from Emporia State University, and has over 20 years of professional educational experience. Shannon McGraw-Grass, agent and vp of marketing, received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in business from the University of Kansas in 2016. Shannon specializes in group health and life plans. She builds upon her past experiences working for socially-driven nonprofits, Dallas CASA and KU’s Office of Institutional Opportunity & Access. She has professional experience in graphic design, data analytics, writing internal and external documents and website design. Shannon has grown up in this business, from starting in the filing room on the weekends – to now creating proposals for clients, assisting in new services and developing the website.
